Jeff Landry, the Republican pro-life AG of Louisiana, told local state officials who refuse to enforce their pro-life laws that they should lose state funding. This drew a sharp response from Governor John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, who accused Landry of punishing the people instead the officials.

Tables have turned on the pro-abortion movement, which until recently could claim that abortion was the law of the land and had to be guaranteed. After Dobbs, they are vowing to disobey the Supreme Court and their state laws in order to continue to protect abortion.
