Judge Blocks Abortion Ban in Louisiana

Democrat Judge, Don Johnson ruled in favor of Louisiana abortionists granting them a restraining order that will block the enforcement of Louisiana’s abortion ban.
The barrage of pro-abortion legal challenges are being coordinated and litigated by the radical pro-abortion group Center for Reproductive Rights, a New York based law firm that got its start defending partial birth abortion during the early 2000’s.
The argument used by Judge Johnson is the same that an Arizona judge used to invalidate their abortion ban, namely the argument that the abortion ban is unconstitutionally vague and will “hurt medical care in the state.”
Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry accused attorneys from the radical pro-abortion non-profit Center for Reproductive Rights of forum shopping and creating chaos in the state judicial system.
A hearing will be held on Monday, July 18th at 8:30 am to determine whether the restraining order will be made permanent.
Attorney General Jeff Landry has vowed to fight for the abortion ban and has criticized the state supreme court for not getting involved sooner and allowing pro-abortion groups like the Center for Reproductive Rights to create legal chaos in the state filing multiple lawsuits in multiple jurisdictions.
In Texas, the State Supreme Court put a stop to the legal chaos when it stepped in and ruled the state abortion ban to be enforceable.
