Georgia Heartbeat Abortion Ban Survives ACLU lawsuit

A lower court state judge in Fulton County, Georgia ruled against the ACLU’s attempt to block the pro-life law.

The motion to enjoin Georgia’s heartbeat law, is part of a coordinated nationwide strategy to create state constitutional rights to abortion, but was dismissed after judge Robert McBurney held that the lower court did not have “jurisdiction to consider the merits” of the ACLU’s pro-abortion argument.

The ACLU plans to appeal the case to the state supreme court hoping to fabricate a state right to kill babies before they have a chance to be born.
